LOS ANGELES — This week, a new library opened at Men's Central Jail in Los Angeles.

Hunter's Library offers greater access to books for inmates in the jail. The program is part of a collaboration between MCJ and the LA County Library System.

County residents can donate books to the jail through the library system. The sheriff's department says more than 32,000 books have been donated so far.
