CARSON, Calif. — The Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery in Carson is considered abandoned after the owner cancelled their license early August. 

Family members of those who are buried there have stepped up to keep the cemetery open and running while they await a permanent solution. 

The Cemetery and Funeral Bureau that manages the license said they are looking to appoint a temporary cemetery manager while they find someone to take over the property.
