EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — This week is OCD Awareness Week, a worldwide event that aims to both educate and dispel myths surrounding the disorder that impacts more than 200 million people worldwide.

And while it's never easy living with obsessive-compulsive disorder, there are many new and effective treatment methods. And for some, there are even ways to flip the script — and use the disorder to your advantage.
