LOS ANGELES — After months of negotiating for a better contract, nurses with the California Nurses Association at Cedars-Sinai in Marina del Rey are striking to retain bargaining rights.
The nurses claim management is attempting to strip them of their ability to bargain for better benefits, such as time off and health insurance.
According to a statement from Cedars-Sinai, the hospital will remain operational throughout the strike, and contract negotiations will resume in January.
