IRVINE, Calif. — A gift-wrapping company started by two friends named Patrick turns a gift into one that gives back.

Patrick Feeny and Patrick K co-founded Giftiply.

“Really, the wrapping paper is a vehicle for our mission, which is raising funds for causes, supporting artistry and sustainability,” Feeny said. 

One-third of the purchase price goes to one of eight national nonprofits Giftiply has partnered with. Customers also have the option to increase their donations.

Artists are hired to create designs associated with the nonprofit. And Giftiply’s wrapping paper is made with recycled material, recyclable soy-based inks and packaged in sustainable materials such as a plastic-like bag made from corn.
