LOS ANGELES — "Building the Bowl: From Dream to Destination" explores the seminal period of 1919 to 1934, which saw the parallel growth of Los Angeles and The Hollywood Bowl.

The exhibition includes historic photos and ephemera that look at three areas: the physical construction of the Hollywood Bowl, the individuals and organizations who made it happen, and the story of LA.

Museum director and archivist Ljiljana Grubisic said the exhibition celebrates of one of LA's most historic landmarks, "a venue that has played a major role in music and entertainment, and has helped shape the careers of some of the most famous performers of the 20th and 21st centuries."
