LOS ANGELES — Blair Besten is with the downtown Los Angeles historic core’s business improvement district. She says she was approached after the COVID-19 pandemic to help create an arts event that would help revitalize downtown LA's historic core.

Property owners in the area volunteer spaces to create pop-up galleries in and around the historic core for the walkable event, which happens the first Thursday of every month.

DTLA Art Night features new and emerging artists at 25 galleries with the participation of other local businesses offering food and drink options.
