El Triste is the saddest clown in Los Angeles, and people around the world have fallen in love with him.

Puppeteer Cain Carias created El Triste in May 2018 after working at the Bob Baker marionette theatre.

El Triste is now starring in his own movie, which is featured as part of the “Nueva Onda,” or New Wave, selections of the Latin American Cinematica of LA. It can be watched online.
