Da Vinci Schools, which runs a group of charter schools in Los Angeles, are embracing artificial intelligence by developing their own tool focused on personalized learning for students.

The tool, Project Leo, was developed by teacher Steven Eno and is currently powered by OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT.

The launch of the tool comes amid uncertainty among school districts and teachers nationwide on how to respond to AI.
