SUN VALLEY, Calif. — The robotics team from Robert H. Lewis Continuation High School in Sun Valley is headed to Texas to compete in its FIRST Tech Challenge World Championship.

They qualified after winning first place in a district-wide competition in which they were the only continuation school.

They formed a robotics team at the school after receiving a robotics kit from the i.am.angel foundation, which was founded by rapper will.i.am.
