VALENCIA, Calif. — Halloween may be once a year, but one shop in the Santa Clarita Valley celebrates all year long.

A Chorus Line Dance and Halloween Store opened up in 1983. Reena Newhall opened it to save local fellow dance instructors the drive to Hollywood to get dance supplies. She added a few costumes for dance recitals, and from there, the costume collection has grown.

The store is now a dance and Halloween store all year long. Her daughters, Beth Richardson and Jana Einaudi, now co-own and run the store. The sisters say that while the store has expanded from 300 square feet to 3,000, the small-town, mom-and-pop vibe is still around.
