LOS ANGELES — During the heatwave that is sweeping the nation, food trucks in Los Angeles must make unique workarounds to battle the temperatures.
A food truck operator told Spectrum News it can be up to 30 degrees hotter inside a food truck than outside, meaning temperatures can sometimes soar up to 130 degrees.
Some ways they are managing the heat is to cut hours, avoid areas like the San Fernando Valley or the Inland Empire, and taking shifts at the grill.
