LOS ANGELES — In 1960, then-6-year-old Ruby Bridges became the first Black child to attend William Frantz Elementary School, an all-white school in Louisiana.

Now, she has made it her mission to promote tolerance and unity among the next generation.

Bridges shared her story with students in Los Angeles.
