LOS ANGELES — “Dining With the Sultan: The Fine Art of Feasting” features some 250 works of art related to the sourcing, preparation, serving and consumption of food from Islamic lands.
LACMA curator of Islamic art, Linda Komaroff worked with renowned Iranian-American chef Najmieh Batmanglij, who recreated recipes dating as far back as the 9th century for the exhibition.
The exhibition runs until Aug. 4.
