LOS ANGELES — Shepard Fairey co-founded Subliminal Projects in 1995 as a multi-functional art space with a focus on new and emerging artists. The gallery is now based in Echo Park.

Subliminal Projects is now presenting “These 5 Kings” by Denver-based artist Ravi Zupa through July 22.

Primarily self-taught, Zupa blends different techniques, mediums and influences, including early Flemish painting, Asian woodblock prints and pop-culture references.
