LOS ANGELES — The 1986 Chernobyl nuclear power plant explosion in Ukraine is widely considered the worst nuclear disaster in history.
Finnish composer Uljas Pulkkis and American librettist Glenda Dawn Goss created the opera “All the Truths We Cannot See: A Chernobyl Story,” which examines the impact of Chernobyl.
The production is a collaboration between the USC Thornton School of Music and the Uniarts Helsinki Sibelius Academy. The production had its U.S. premiere at the USC Bing Theater this week.
