Meet the team that will represent California in the “Spectrum News Challenge.”

Rachel

High school: Chaminade College Preparatory High School

Accomplishments: Rachel is heavily involved in the school’s drama program, National Honor Society and varsity swim team.

Fun fact: Rachel is the executive director of the Diversity Club.

Visud

High school: Long Beach Polytechnic High School

Accomplishments: Visud is a member of the National Honor Society, co-president of the Math Club and plays piano in the school’s jazz program.

Fun fact: Visud is working on a homeless awareness campaign where he turns their stories into songs.

Dariana

High school: Chaminade College Preparatory High School

Accomplishments: Dariana is on both the speech and debate teams, president of the Model United Nations and president of the Chaminade Players Drama Board. 

Fun fact: Dariana is the executive director of the Diversity Club.
