CLEVELAND — The Cleveland National Air Show has been bringing people together since 1964.

This year, organizers are expecting over 100,000 spectators to come watch the show.

Two of those are Edward and Joe Takacs, a pair of brothers who have been attending for 45 years. 

​Most people just go to watch and have fun, but for Edward and Joe, some of the air show is part of their job. They both work in professions where they build parts for planes, including popular ones such as the Blue Angels.

“I make transfer pumps​ for the Blue Angels so they can fly in an inverted fashion,” Joe Takacs said. 

They have always loved coming to the show, but their favorite memories are spending time together.

Edward Takacs couldn't contain his excitement about being there with his brother.

“Oh, it’s just a hoot,” he said. 

The air show is going on all Labor Day Weekend.
