Hollywood stuntman and marine veteran Collin Hymes was one of the fortunate survivors of the mass shooting in Thousand oaks on November 7, 2018, when a gunman entered the Borderline Bar and Grill and killed 12 people, injuring many others. The 33-year-old survived a bullet to the neck, and shattered his knee during the escape. The very next day, his family was evacuated from their home due to the Woolsey fire. He has since been evacuated two more times for potential mudslides. On the three month anniversary of the shooting, we checked in with Hymes and his progress on the road to recovery.
