LOS ANGELES — Reseda Theater Senior Housing, a new 26-unit affordable housing site in Reseda for seniors ages 62 and older, designated half of its units for seniors who face chronic homelessness.

The site offers 1 to 2 bedroom units with laundry facilities, case management, a community room and more. Applications for accessible units are being accepted, according to the site's website. The waitlist for affordable housing units are now closed.

More than 75,000 people in Los Angeles County are homeless, according to the 2023 Greater Los Angeles Homeless Count. There was an 11% increase in older adults facing homelessness. About 5,000 of those individuals were older adults ages 64 and older.
