LOS ANGELES — Thanksgiving became a time for SAG-AFTRA members to reconnect and give back.

Actor Joely Fisher sponsored a Friendsgiving celebration with Project Angel, an organization that delivers medically tailored meals, often drawing famous faces on their Thanksgiving morning.

Though the SAG-AFTRA is over, the deal they accepted from the AMPTP is not yet ratified by their 160,000 members.

The holidays traditionally tend to be a bit slower for the entertainment industry, so the Friendsgiving at the Hollywood United Methodist Church served as a reunion.

Actor Victoria Lopez emphasized the special bond formed during the strikes, expressing gratitude for the chance to come together.

Over at Project Angel Food on Thanksgiving morning, famous faces like Loni Love, Lisa Rinna, Zach Braff and Sam Asghari joined to help serve meals with love, reflecting on a challenging year and fostering a sense of hope and community.
