LOS ANGELES — As temperatures soar across Southern California, medical experts say access to cooler areas is key. These can be cooling centers, libraries, air-conditioned spaces or the beach.

However, for some people with different medical conditions or disabilities, gaining access to cooler spaces can be challenging. Medical experts say inclusion is always a priority, especially during a heat wave.

Throughout the rest of the summer, ParaSurf clinics will be available for people aged 7-17 through the city of Los Angeles' Youth Adaptive Sports Program.
