Phish announced Thursday they are booked to play the new Las Vegas Sphere.
The jam band will perform four shows April 18-21, 2024. Each show will feature a different set list and unique visuals that take advantage of the Sphere’s eye-popping LED displays.
“From the moment we first heard about Sphere and its potential, we’ve been dreaming up ways to bring our show to this breathtaking canvas,” Phish guitarist and lead vocalist Trey Anastasio said in a statement. “We’re thrilled to present this completely unique experience to Phish fans.”
The Irish rock band, U2, was the first and only act so far to play the Sphere. Its residency began in late September and will run through next year.
The Sphere’s interior features a massive 160,000-square-foot LED display that encircles the audience and stage and an exterior that changes images, alternatively appearing as an eyeball, planet Earth and other images.
Phish tickets are available through the band’s online shop. They will remain on sale through Dec. 11, after which the remaining tickets will be available to the general public, starting Dec. 15 at 1 p.m. ET.
