EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — Pauly Shore, 52, is a Los Angeles native and got his start doing stand-up comedy at his mom's famed "Comedy Store" on the Sunset Strip.
Now, after a decade-long hiatus from the big screen, Shore is back with a new comedy Guest House, where he plays a party animal squatter who won't leave after a newly engaged couple buys their dream home.

- “Stick with the Dancing: Funny Stories from my Childhood” is a new, one-man-show Shore has been performing during the pandemic. He will continue touring across the country beginning September 25 in Colorado Springs.
- After becoming an MTV 'VJ' in 1989, Shore had a string of moderate film hits with Encino Man (1992), Son in Law (1993) and Bio-Dome (1996).
- His other projects include a weekly audio and video podcast “Pauly Shore’s Random Rants," a scripted series Pauly Shore Is Quarantined With His Ex On Maui, and a merchandising line.
- In 2003 Shore produced, wrote, directed and starred in "Pauly Shore Is Dead," a semi-autobiographical mockumentary which gave him the best reviews of his career.
