In Sacramento, Genesis lobbies for bills like SB 1138, which provides for plant-based meal options in places like hospitals and prisons.
She was recently chosen for Marvel’s Hero Project. It’s a new reality series on Disney+. Twenty kids from around the country were selected for their passion and accomplishments.
This casting enables her to bring her cause to a much wider audience.
“I thought of how much of an impact this would make and help animals, so I want to do whatever I can to help the animals,” said Genesis.
Even though filming has wrapped, the work is far from finished.
Genesis continues raising money for animal sanctuaries across Southern California.
