HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. — A mobile coffee cart at Ocean View High School in Huntington Beach not only serves up hot drinks, it serves up lessons for the students who run it.

The Ocean Brew coffee cart is run by a group of students in the school’s IDEAS program, which stands for "independence, diversity, educating all students."

Students learn math, communication, team work, vocational skills and other things by running the coffee business. They are assigned different jobs from brewing the coffee and prepping the drink orders to delivering the drinks every Wednesday and Friday morning.

All the money from purchases go right back into the business. A similar coffee cart program is run at Edison High School in Huntington Beach.
