LOS ANGELES — A number of schools in the Los Angeles Unified School District and surrounding campuses were closed Friday morning due to the Saddleridge Fire in the Porter Ranch and Granada Hills areas.

  • Danube Avenue Elementary School, 11220 Danube Avenue in Granada Hills
  • El Oro Way Elementary School, 12230 El Oro Way in Granada Hills
  • Haskell STEAM Magnet, 15850 Tulsa St., in Granada Hills
  • Knollwood Preparatory Academy, 11822 Gerald Avenue in Granada Hills
  • Porter Ranch Community School, 12450 Mason Avenue in Porter Ranch
  • Van Gogh Charter School, 17160 Van Gogh Street in Granada Hills
  • Kennedy High School, 11254 Gothic Avenue in Granada Hills
  • Frost Middle School, 12314 Bradford Place in Granada Hills

In L.A. and Ventura counties, the following are also closed:

  • Jane Adams Continuation High School
  • North Valley Military Institute

Throughout San Fernando Valley, all PUC charter schools are closed for the day, which includes:

  • PUC Community Charter Early College High School
  • PUC Community Charter Elementary School
  • PUC Community Charter Middle School
  • PUC Inspire Charter Academy
  • PUC Lakeview Charter Academy
  • PUC Lakeview Charter High School
  • PUC Nueva Esperanza Charter Academy
  • PUC Triumph Charter Academy
  • PUC Triumph Charter High School

For universities, the following are closed for the day: 

  • Moorpark College 
  • Cal State Northridge
  • Los Angeles Pierce Community College
  • Los Angeles Mission Community College
