Fire danger is nothing new to California, but what is new is a year-round fire season.

Last year's Woolsey and Holy fires burned homes to the ground and changed lives forever.

Communities are not able to ignore the increasing threat of wildfires any longer. People are planning evacuation routes and making their homes fire-resistant.

New technology is also being developed to battle fires before they threaten lives.
