LOS ANGELES — Los Angeles Clippers' Russell Westbrook was on hand Thursday for a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Jesse Owens Park in South Los Angeles.

His foundation, along with the LA Clippers and the county Parks and Recreation Department, helped refurbish a basketball court in the recreation center. Westbrook, a South LA native, began his basketball journey there.

It is the 117th court the Clippers have built in LA County since 2018 and 500th in the area at large.
