VENTURA, Calif. — Ventura's Westpark skatepark is about to grow from a 3,200-square-foot bowl to a 20,000-square-foot facility for skaters of all skill levels. 

The project is expected to break ground by March 2024 and could be completed by late summer. 

Residents who frequent the skatepark say they're excited about the expansion and pleased with the city's investment into more recreational infrastructure.
