LOS ANGELES — After making history Tuesday night, LeBron James admitted during a news conference that the achievement of becoming the NBA’s all-time leading scorer hadn't really hit him yet.

After scoring 38 points against the Oklahoma City Thunder and passing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar at Crypto.com Arena, where the Lakers game was halted to commemorate the occasion, James said he had a moment and thought of his family and everyone who has been with him throughout this journey.

“I had a moment right there, but I don’t think it’s really hit me on what just transpired. As much as I try to live in the moment, it was kind of a blur,” he said.
