LOS ANGELES — Forty-six-year-old Georgia Lee, a Hollywood screenwriter, had long since given up her childhood dream to become an Olympic skater.
But, after a friend encouraged her to visit a local ice skating rink, she discovered a whole group of like-minded, middle-aged adults who wanted to put their dreams “back on ice.”
The group includes people in the entertainment business, airline pilots, economists and even a CSI crime detective.
