EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — Former Dodgers pitcher Orel Hershiser, whose greatest moments on the field were called by Vin Scully, remembers Scully as “the voice from our highlight film of life.”

“It’s really hard because it’s a portion of your life that you don’t want to lose, and you keep seeing your idols, your friends, continue to pass. So this is a very, very tough day,” an emotional Hershiser said.
