GREEN BAY, Wis. — Aaron Rodgers has confirmed the answer to fans’ long-awaited question on if he will return to the Green Bay Packers in 2022.
After reports that Rodgers agreed to return to the Packers came out Tuesday morning, the quarterback himself confirmed the news in the afternoon.
Original reports speculated Rodgers and the Packers agreed to a four-year, $200 million deal. However, Rodgers said the "supposed terms of the contract" were inaccurate.
The news was first reported by Pat McAfee via Twitter. However McAfee said that there is no deal currently in place, but a "cap friendly" deal is in the works.
