That includes the Jones family, a husband, wife, and their two kids all wanted to be a part of this moment.

“We felt the energy. We had to be here to experience it with the fans and with the team,” said Dee Jones.

Dee works in sales and was actually lucky enough to naturally be off from work for the celebration.

“I’m actually off Sundays and Mondays specifically for sports,” he said.

The little ones were just happy to be away from school and their dreaded math work.

The fans were ready to cheer on the favorites. First, they received a wave from LeBron, then Anthony Davis, followed by JaVale McGee in all of his championship glory.

“JaVale McGee gave us the love that we deserve.,” said Dee. “We’ve been through a lot with the Lakers and he showed us a lot of support when he rolled out. I love it.”

It was a homecoming ten years in making, resulting in a day the Jones family we’ll never forget.
