LOS ANGELES - Passions are running high among supporters on both sides as the kickoff in the battle for L.A. soccer supremacy between L.A. Galaxy and Los Angeles FC draws near.

With five MLS titles and a history that dates back to 1996, Galaxy can rightfully boast of being the most successful team in the history of the league. But the Galaxy have had to contend with some new "noisy neighbors" for the past couple of seasons.

Currently flying high in its second season in MLS, LAFC is the league's current in-form team.

However, despite dominating most games, the one team LAFC has yet to beat is the Galaxy. Will tonight be the night?

Whatever the result, win or lose, it's unlikely to shake the dedication of either team's passionate fan-base.
