Want to give back to the community? Join the Surfrider Foundation for their Beach Clean Up.

From 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday at the Belmont Pier in Long Beach, volunteer your time in a fun and easy way by helping to keep our beaches and ocean clean.

If you can’t make it this Saturday, beach clean-ups take place every first Saturday of the month at Belmont Pier. Make sure you register online.

Los Angeles Beer Festival

The 14th annual LA Beer Festival finally returns. On Saturday at LA Center Studios, quench your thirst with over 80 breweries, 200 beers, LA’s best food trucks, live music and so much more.

You can book 2 timeslots: noon to 3 p.m., and 5 to 8 p.m.

Proceeds will benefit Noah’s B-ark, whose aim is to rescue dogs from shelters and find permanent homes for them and rescued pets, as well as funding food, shelter, and vet bills.

Note: No pets are allowed at this event.
