The "Jeepney," a stretched out, colorful vehicle that's sort of like a cross between a jeep and a bus, is one of the most ubiquitous forms of transportation in the Philippines. Closer to home, you can take a ride around Historic Filipinotown in a 1944 Sarao Motors jeepney.

"The SoCal Scene's" Melvin Robert hopped aboard and sampled some of the food and culture Filipinotown has to offer, concluding his excursion with a stop at the Genever cocktail lounge to sample some hand-crafted cocktails.
