A pastrami shockwave went through southern California earlier this year when it was announced that Nate 'n Al's deli in Beverly Hills, a favorite since 1945, was closing.

But today, under new ownership, Nate 'n Al's is back. You can still get all your deli favorites to go, as they're serving take-out, delivery and catering. The SoCal Scene correspondent Alison Martino has all the details about the deli founders and those famous pastrami sandwiches we still get to enjoy. She sat down with Arthur Sherman, director of operations for Azoff Restaurant Group, who takes us back to the landmark's early days when they started as just a deli counter. The rest is history.
