LOS ANGELES — A mother’s love and unwavering fight to seek answers, even 10-years after Tina Swayne Johnson’s son Kenny was murdered. She cherishes his memory as the sweet, funny and kind-hearted man he always was.

Ten years ago in May, someone entered the cell-phone store owned by her son Kenny in the valley, shot and murdered him, and then ransacked his business.

Today, the face of her son and others who were murdered appear on multiple LA freeway billboards, posing a question: “Do you know who murdered us?”

The billboards are part of a campaign by Justice for Murdered Children, a nonprofit dedicated to seeking justice for unsolved homicides.

The goal is to raise awareness, gather leads, and spark community curiosity to ask questions about these cold cases that affect families in LA county.
