LOS ANGELES (CNS) — LA Sanitation and Environment announced Wednesday it is partnering with the office of Los Angeles City Council President Nury Martinez to collect donated toiletries for human trafficking survivors.

People are urged to donate new, full-size shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, feminine hygiene products and hair products, according to L.A. Sanitation and Environment, which is putting collection bins at each of its locations.

Donations can be placed in the bins — located near the main office of each yard — on weekdays between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. through February 12 at:

  • East Valley District Yard, 11050 Pendleton St., Sun Valley
  • West Valley District Yard, 8840 Vanalden Ave., Northridge
  • North Central District Yard, 452 San Fernando Road, Lincoln Heights
  • West L.A. District Yard, 2027 Stoner Ave., Sawtelle
  • South L.A. District Yard, 786 S. Mission Road, Boyle Heights
  • Harbor District Yard, 1400 N. Gaffey St., San Pedro
