SANTA CLARITA, Calif. — If a new bill passes in California, businesses that make masa would have to add folic to their recipe.

Spectrum News talked to a restaurant in Santa Clarita that prides itself on having the freshest masa with no preservatives or added ingredients.

While owners say they aren’t against the idea, they want to make sure it doesn’t change the flavor of their product.
