LOS ANGELES — A nightmare ruling for the dreamers: a federal judge again ruled DACA, the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, illegal.
The ruling puts the 580,000 DACA recipients at risk of being deported. Nearly 30% of them live right in California, and have never known a country other than the United States.
Luis Tadeo, a DACA recipient and member of the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights of Los Angeles — one of the largest organizations advocating for immigrant rights — shares his story.
