EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — It's official. Karen Bass will be the next Mayor of Los Angeles.

The longtime Democratic congressional representative is making history as the city’s first Black woman mayor.

In her first speech as Los Angeles’ mayor-elect, Bass acknowledged the historic nature of her electoral win and pledged to address the city’s homelessness crisis.

But now that the race is over, how will she actually govern the city? Mo’Kelly from KFI AM 640 joins Kelvin Washington on “Your Afternoon” to break it down.
