Kristen Lago loves being able to call SoCal home. Born and raised in Downey, educated at USC, and most recently a resident of West LA, she has a few pro tips and tricks. For example, if you find yourself at Armando’s Lunch Truck, try the Uko burrito (named after former defensive end George Uko), and get the best cookies at Milk Jar. 

Kristen has a passion for telling stories about the diverse and rich communities that have shaped her into the person she is today. Her time covering the Los Angeles Rams incredible 2021-2022 postseason run, capped by a win at the then-newly opened SoFi Stadium, goes down as her most enjoyable coverage to date. Profiling not only the team and its incredible players, but the sports community of Southern California as it hosted the world's greatest sporting event was truly a time to remember. 

When she's not reporting on the various sports teams and sports news in her community, Kristen works as a weekend anchor for "Your Morning Weekend" and as a sideline reporter for Spectrum SportsNet. In her free time, you can find her still fully immersed in SoCal sports. She hasn’t missed a USC home game in almost a decade, and she’s always happy to take in a Dodger game at Chavez Ravine.
