WESTWOOD, Calif. — Encampments in solidarity with Palestinians continue at UCLA where hundreds gathered to make their voices heard on the matter of the ongoing war in Gaza.

Unlike other campus across the country where students have been detained, the scenes at the UCLA campus have been peaceful.

UCLA says that their approach is “to always preserve a history of peaceful protest” and to allow their students to express and practice their rights.

The university says they’ve stationed student affair representatives near the encampment to inform visitors and other Bruins about the encampment.
