TORRANCE, Calif. – A Japanese business owner in Torrance says a racist letter was posted on his store window.
The letter was found by an employee last week.
To protect the identities of the victims, Spectrum News 1 is not naming the business nor the people who work there.
The letter is full of hate speech, racist remarks, and targeted threats.
The specialty cookware store where the letter was posted has been in business almost a decade.
“It’s just sad. I believe 99 percent of people are good people,” said the employee who found the note.
The shop’s owner contacted Torrance police.
