CALIFORNIA – With the first winter storm of the season upon us, mountains across California are already being blanketed by snowfall.

Snow has been reported in Green Valley and Running Springs at an elevation of 6,500 feet. The snow was falling at a rate of 1-inch per hour, according to National Weather Service San Diego.
