DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Lakers celebrated their second annual Pride Night in style with a preseason win over the Golden State Warriors.

The Lakers Pride Night festivities included members from all walks of the LGBTQ community.

Among those in attendance were 60 members from the Lambda Basketball League.

Lambda Basketball offers LA's LGBTQ community and its allies a safe and inclusive place to play to the game of basketball.

Aaron Morris plays for team Hollywood Blindside and is also on the board for Lambda Basketball.

He realizes what this group has done for him.

"It just built a network of people that allows you to be comfortable with who you are," said Morris.

By extension that was the theme of Pride Night, inclusiveness.

Pride Night also included a performance by the Gay Men's Choir of Los Angeles and the presentation of the Laces Of Unity Award by Jason Collins to Robbie Rogers; who was the first openly gay man to compete in a top-tier North American professional sports league when he played his first match for the LA Galaxy in May 2013.
