SHERMAN OAKS, Calif. – Genevieve Peters takes an American flag with her to every rally she attends in support of President Donald Trump.

She is the founder of the family America Project, an organization whose goal she says is to “unite Pro-Trump, Pro-America groups.”

“There are a lot of Trump supporters in Los Angeles and we are always out front and very unapologetic about our love for our president,” said Peters.

Needless to say she is definitely all in when it comes to President Trump in 2020. She regularly keeps in contact with pro-Trump organizations.

Now the question is, will the president’s latest moves to restrict asylum claims, deter supporters like Peters? She says no.

Under the proposed rule, asylum seekers who pass through another country first will be ineligible for asylum at the U.S. Mexico border.

“If you decide that you’re going to skip three and four countries, to cherry pick a country that you decide you want to go to obviously the asylum is being abused,” said Peters.

Recently, President Trump tweeted at four women of color in Congress, all of whom are U.S. citizens, to go back to “the crime infested places from which they came.” Of the four congress women he referred to in his tweet, only one was born abroad.

“So our president said basically what all us American patriots are thinking, if you’re so unhappy with America, go back to another country. In Omar ‘s case, she can go back to Somalia, in the other people’s case they can pick a country just like they want other people to pick our country and they can decide where else they want to go that might be more fitting for them,” said Peters.

While Peter’s is a Trump supporter, she is not a Republican. In fact she was once a Democrat.

“The first person that jarred me was Ross Perot, back in the 90s during the Clinton election,” said Peters.

Now she is an Independent and a President Trump supporter who finishes whatever call she’s making with the line, “and listen one more thing, Trump 2020.”

Not only is she hoping Trump is re-elected in 2020 but after taking pictures with three of the President’s children, she is also hoping that in 2020, she will finally get that selfie with President Trump.
